During this pandemic season, everyone is trapped in their own country and couldn't be able to travel overseas for some relaxation and adventure. We are so delighted when we have the chance to have the first ever vacation after nearly 2 years due to pandemic, and what's more, it is our virgin cruise experience together! 💏 I am not really the person that will enjoy cruising as I have sea sickness and nausea easily. Whenever I sit boat I will get sick and thus I am worried that with the money spent, I can not enjoy the holidays as much as I can. Nonetheless, we went ahead to book the cruise few months back, as vacation away from work is so much needed for us, frankly we are quite bored trapped ourselves in this Singapore island. 😏

There are 2 choices for cruise in Singapore for this year 2021, namely Genting Dream Cruise (cheaper) and Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas Cruise (more expensive). At first, we had booked Genting Dream Cruise, but later of the day after few research online, we have decided to cancel the booking and book Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas Cruise. There are a lot of reviews online comparing these 2 cruises, and the later always win, in term of foods and entertainment shows. Genting offers more to buffet style foods and more to casino gambling ship. Royal is more to top notch service and elegant style with specialty fine dining foods and world class entertainment shows. Although Royal price is almost double of Genting, I am really glad that I have decided to go with Royal at the end! 😍 You will know why after you read all of my upcoming blog reviews!

Due to the pandemic that happening globally, t his is a cruise to nowhere, meaning that we will not leave the cruise throughout the whole trip. Initially I am worried if it will be boring for the 5d4n cruise to nowhere with only on board activities, but I am so so so wrong! I just back from the cruise few days ago and I feel that 5d4n cruise to nowhere is so much fun and I thoroughly enjoy those on board activities offered! Honestly, I still have a lot more activities yet to do, I think it would be better if it  is 7d6n trip! 😂 Plus, I do not experience sea sickness during this trip, yeahh! I can feel it is sailing sometime with very mild effect, I am not feeling sick at all, I am so glad that I able to enjoy the holidays! 😜

We have the best sea-cation with Royal Caribbean Cruise, Quantum of the Seas. It is a 5d4n cruise-to-nowhere holidays surrounding   vicinity of Singapore island. It is such a pampering and luxurious virgin cruise trip for us! I am looking forward to even more cruise holidays in future! Royal Caribbean really raises up the bar for a luxury cruise holidays and I will certainly be back for more in future! Kudos to all the crew members and staffs on board, from housekeeper (who make cute towel animals daily to surprise you!), personal waitresses for each dining table (who remember your food preference and surprise you with more and more foods, the portion is very generous!), managers (who talk to you during dinner every night and give us strawberry chocolate dessert at the end of the trip), staffs (who help to make booking for your activities easily) and so much more! We feel truly pampered and experience a "royalty" holidays from the good care of crew members and staffs. Amidst the pandemic season, we are blessed to be able to escape and have an enjoyable "overseas" holidays! Thank you, Royal team! 💖😘   I am missing the trip so much already by the time I set my foot on Singapore island again, you will be missed and see you soon!  😘

Our Cruise Details:

Cruise Name: Quantum of the Seas
( Note: Quantum of the Seas has been sailing in Singapore for year 2021, and forecast to continue till Feb 2022, any news on the date extension need to refer to official website Link)
Sailing Duration: 5 Days 4 Nights
Sailing Period: 9 Sep 2021 - 13 Sep 2021
Price: SGD 1400 for 2 pax (without upgrade to unlimited dining and unlimited alcoholic drinks and without WiFi on board)
Capacity: 4180 guests (double occupancy) OR 4905 guests (maximum occupancy) + 1.5k crew
(Note: during our Sep 2021 sailing, the capacity is about 50%, which is ~2k guests)
Total Deck/Floor: 16th
Room Type: Balcony Stateroom with Ocean View
( Note: We stay in level 12, forward deck. You can choose the exact room number you want prior to the trip! I have researched for each deck and found that deck 8 to deck 12 have the best room to stay and potentially the best to avoid from the sound of crowds. As majority of the cruise activities and restaurants are in deck 3/4/14/15.)
( Tips: The stateroom location for each deck is categorized into Forward, Mid-Ship, and Aft. I think is advisable to get Mid-Ship, as it is easier to access to the restaurants and activities on board. Since Mid-Ship is the center of ship, it will be more stable and good for those who prone to sea sickness too I guess.)
( Tips: Opt for balcony room to enjoy the deck. You can bring up to 2 bottles of wine per room as well during Royal cruise! Best to enjoy wine with the ocean view at deck. For budget travelers, opt for interior room without window. For luxury travelers, opt for suite! For suite, you can have early boarding time, VIP seats for entertainment shows, private jacuzzi in the room yourself, personal butler, private sun deck and pool access for suite only, and etcetera)
( Tips: Price for room differs according to peak/shoulder/low season. The price order from cheapest to most expensive is listed here: Interior --> Ocean View --> Balcony (our choice & most popular) --> Suite. the most updated price can be checked from the official website  Link )

If you wonder what is the rod extended out at the highest, it is actually called North Star, which is an observation deck to let you have a bird eye view of ocean and the cruise!

A look inside Quantum of the Seas. Some of the activities you can join during the cruise! During my Sep 2021 sailing, all of them are still valid, except for the Dream Works Experience and roller rink. Royal will change entertainment shows (not sure how frequent) every now and then,  so frequent cruise visitors won't get bored by the same performance again and again!  Talk about great efforts here by Royal Team! 👍

Morning world, it is our 5th day, the last day in Quantum of the Seas for this 5d4n holidays. We come to buffet restaurant to enjoy our breakfast then bid farewell to Royal Caribbean Cruise already.

Itinerary Summary:

Day 5:

💜  Breakfast at Windjammer Buffet Restaurant
💜  Check Out

Breakfast @ Windjammer Buffet Restaurant

Venue: Deck 14
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

On our last day, we come to buffet restaurant for breakfast. Usually we go to main dining to enjoy our breakfast and don't have a chance to visit this buffet restaurant. Since today is last day already, let's come to visit this restaurant at least once before the trip ends. Buffet restaurant has a little bit more food varieties compare to Main Dining, but the crowds are a lot more especially families with kids. Windjammer buffet restaurant is a better choice if you are traveling with kids. They can take foods and drinks they want freely from the counter (and more spaces for them to move and run around?! 😂). For us, we prefer Main Dining much more than here, the environment is more relaxed and elegant, food decoration is beautiful, service is better since they attend to each tables. Unlike buffet restaurant, you need to queue for foods and take those with you yourself to the table, no food decoration, environment is quite noisy with kids and crowds. You may try both for your cruise trip, no harm right? 😁

Tips: Windjammer buffet restaurant is a casual family friendly restaurant. Main Dining is more classy and enjoys better service from the crew.

Tips: Both Windjammer buffet restaurant and Main Dining serve quite similar types of food and drink menu. Main Dining is more to service,  food decoration and relaxed environment. Windjammer is more to food varieties and fun of exploring around feeling spoilt of choice. For those who feels shy to order too much in Main Dining, buffet restaurant is a good choice! 😁

Interior look of Windjammer Buffet Restaurant

Cruise arrives in Singapore already..

Enjoy our last breakfast with ocean view. His face looks sad.. 😔

Miss the trip so much already.. Although I am forcing myself to smile here.. 😏😞

Check Out

We have been assigned check out time at about 8.30am. Housekeeper will put the notice on top of your bed on Day 4 evening to inform you the check out time. They are controlling the crowd by assigning specific check out time by room number. Just follow your assigned time accordingly. Of course, there are some folks still enjoying their leisure time on cruise because they have extended the holidays. FYI, you can combine 2 cruise durations together in your holidays. There are 2 types of cruise trips, which are 5D4N and 4D3N cruise. 5D4N trip starts from Thursday-Monday, and 4D3N trip starts from Monday-Thursday. If you are planning to go for 9D8N trip one shot for the holidays, it is possible too, you no need to leave the cruise on Monday as most of the folks, instead you just stay and wait for the next cruise to set sailing. The good thing is you are inside the cruise already and you can spend your half of a day on board without crowds at all! You can liaise with Royal Caribbean Cruise online and see if you are able to secure the same room, to save up the hassle of changing room too. Of course, don't worry on luggage if really need to change room, the staff will do all troublesome things for you, just relax and enjoy your trip will do! 💜

Tips: Take note of check out time (you will know on Day 4) and disembark accordingly.

Tips: To maximize the trip, consider to go for 9D8N trip! There is no need for you to disembark the cruise and you have half of a day free time on board without any crowds (on Monday), much like VVIP!

Tips: 5D4N trip starts from Thursday-Monday. 4D3N trip starts from Monday-Thursday.

Can spot the iconic Marina Bay Sands here. Welcome back to reality again... Feeling sad to go back.. 😩

Pool facility has been closed on last day of cruise for cleaning to be done,
they are ready for the next batch of customers who on board 4D3N trip soon!

That's it for Day 5. Good Bye, Royal Caribbean Cruise! Thanks for making our holidays so relaxing and pampering! It is our 1st time on board, and there will be more cruises in future for sure! 💓😎 Hopefully traveling around the world can resume soon already, then we can see you in other part of the world! 😍💙

Morning world, it is our 4th day in Quantum of the Seas for this 5d4n holidays. Time flies and we are almost approaching the end of our holidays. Today is the last full day that we can spend on board. We start off the beautiful day by enjoying jacuzzi in indoor pool. Since it is 7am early in the morning, we get the whole jacuzzi to ourselves, early birds always get the worm 😁! Apart from relaxing and eating, today activities are focused mainly on art and music (chill day for Day 4), yeah everyday we have different theme 😄!  So after some satisfying meals, we spend our day by learning some handmade art skill which is to convert ribbon to rose ⚘ and listening to quartet musical performance by a group of talented musicians. After dinner, we go for a mini couple photoshoot session. We are so blessed to meet new friends who happened to be a photographer and he is so good enough to offer us free photoshooting (think this is the happiest moment throughout the whole cruise trip) 💏! Then we manage to jump on the last slot for bumper car ride, and we get 2 rounds of ride as it is the last day of our cruise and the staff is so good to extend the session for us 💓! Of course, to cherry top the sweet day, we end the magical night by enjoying a magic show! And since it is our last night on cruise, we have decided to go for another round of night jacuzzi again! Since it is midnight already, there is no queue and we enjoy the jacuzzi tub all to ourselves again, just like morning time. Scroll down to see more of the Day 4 activity details and photos, hope you guys like it and have fun reading! 💕😎

Morning Jacuzzi

Venue: Indoor Pool @ Deck 14
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

We set alarm and wake up every early in the morning just to have the whole jacuzzi tub to ourselves 😍! We reach indoor pool at about 7am. There are 2 jacuzzi tubs in indoor pool. Soon after we grab one of the jacuzzi tubs, another group of people are coming and fill up the 2nd tub already. Can you imagine 2 tubs have been fully occupied at 7am 😂? Maybe Singaporeans are too "kiasu" (local dialect, it means scare to lose).. 😅 It is a beautiful day today and we able to watch sunrise from the jacuzzi tub, love the pampering and relaxing session so much. Soaking in jacuzzi is my most favorite activity (apart from eating) in Royal Caribbean Cruise, and you will know why when see my photos below 😉!

Tips: Usage of jacuzzi is limited to one group at a time. Each group has 10 minutes soaking time.

Tips: Come at early morning or late night to avoid crowds. You can use the jacuzzi for more than 10 minutes since nobody is queuing!

We get the whole jacuzzi tub to ourselves!
Early bird catches the worm, early folk gets the jacuzzi 💛
(p/s: My sleepy head 😪 husband said early worm gets eaten by the bird.. 😆
Please judge yourself whether you want to wake up early or not for this haha.. 😂)

Beautiful sunrise view from jacuzzi. Love the infinity ocean view, it is so relaxing!

After jacuzzi, we have some photo taking in the area beside indoor pool.
It has many cushion seatings like this for you to sit down
and relax while enjoy the ocean view.

Relaxing moment watching sunrise from the horizon

Morning hues are perfect for some photo shooting 💛

Breakfast @ Silk Restaurant

Restaurant Name:   Main Dining
Restaurant Venue: Deck 4
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

It is breakfast time after the pampering jacuzzi session! There are 2 restaurants for Main Dining, namely American Icon Grill and Silk Restaurant. You can enjoy your breakfast at any of the restaurants, both of them have the exact same breakfast menu, just the environment is slightly different. Since we have tried American Icon Grill on Day 3, so for Day 4 today we head to Silk Restaurant. Personally we prefer Silk Restaurant because it has lesser crowds and the interior decoration is more elegant. American Icon Grill is more to stylish and bright (white and blue) dining environment. While Silk Restaurant is more to classy and mysterious/passionate (red) dining environment. Try both if you have the chance! 😊

Our breakfast of the day:

👉 Express Breakfast
--> Two scrambled eggs served with crispy bacon, smoked sausage links, and white toast
👉 French Toast
--> Two slices of thick-cut brioche dipped in our signature batter and cooked until golden brown, served with berries, whipped cream and maple syrup
👉 Strawberry Granola Parfait
--> Strawberry yogurt layered with berries and topped with crunchy granola

Bread, danish, muffin, and coffee to kick off the breakfast

Beautiful and elegant decoration in Silk Restaurant,
with red chairs and red curtains.
The seats overlooking the ocean are often occupied, we wait for the previous customers to leave and grab the seats to enjoy the breakfast witha view! 😍

Strawberry granola parfait with the ocean view,
easily becomes one of your Instagrammable photo!
Must have a photo of food & infinity ocean view when on board cruise,
can't missed it. 😄

French Toast looks nice too, time to enjoy our breakfast leisurely  😃

Head back to our room. He is resting on the balcony,
while I am shooting some photos here.

Look at the infinity ocean view here. Must book balcony room with ocean view when you are on cruise trip! You won't regret it! 😎

Lunch @ Main Dining

Restaurant Name:   Main Dining
Restaurant Venue: Deck 4
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

After breakfast and resting in room, is time for lunch again! No matter how full, we never skip the meals haha 😂. It is such a "full-filling" cruise trip for us.. Today we have lesser time for lunch, after eat we are going to queue for art class, as it is on 1st come 1st serve basis.

Our lunch of the day:

Appetizer:
👉  Lentil Soup
--> Roasted cauliflower, sauteed spinach, toasted pine nuts, caper vinaigrette

Main Course:
👉  Seafood Sandwich
--> Fresh shrimp, cod and calamari with crisp coleslaw, tartar sauce and pickles on a toasted brioche bun, served with truffled french fries
👉  Ricotta Gnocchi
--> With sauteed spinach and mushrooms in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce

Dessert:
👉  White Chocolate Mousse
--> Velvety mousse garnished with raspberry coulis and ladyfingers

Lunch in Main Dining, environment in American Grill is with bright theme

Lentil soup. Much like a green bean soup, texture is thick and creamy.
I like this very much.

Ricotta gnocchi. The smell is way toooo cheesy for us. I like to eat gnocchi,
but can't really take too pungent cheese odour. We can't finish this plate sadly.

Seafood sandwich. This is nice to eat too.

White Chocolate Mousse. Personally I think this is the best dessert so far throughout our cruise.
As I am rushing to queue for art class, I only order one (actually my husband left early to queue, but I join him shortly after as I am lonely in restaurant too haha). Usually I will order two plates easily if it is a nice food.. Now I am regretting it already.. should order two and let him queue himself. 😂😈

Ribbon to Rose Art Class

Venue: Music Hall @ Deck 4
Booking Method: not applicable, only can walk in and queue

After a fulfilling lunch, we head to Deck 4 music hall and attend an art class. The class instructor teaches us how to convert ribbon to rose. Each of us will be given a blue ribbon at the entrance. The instructor will show the steps-by-steps instruction on the big LCD projector and explain to you the process of making the roses. Of course, he will walk around too and "examine" our progress 😂, feel free to ask questions if you are unclear. For me I am a bit "handicapped" when comes to art, I love to see beautiful things, but don't have much talent to DIY thing myself.. 😆 My husband's handmade rose is much better than me. He also managed to salvage my already "broken" rose haha 😂. The old couple in front of us is like us too, the husband able to make very beautiful rose and get praised by the instructor, while the wife is struggling...hmm... 😅

TIPS:  This class is on 1st come 1st serve basis, so it is advisable to reach 20 minutes to 30 minutes earlier to queue for it.

TIPS:  You can add this class (i.e. ribbon to rose art class, towel making class, and etcetera) into your personal cruise planner in Royal App. When it is about time, they will send a reminder to your phone and let you know the upcoming event that you are interested in.

Ribbon to roses art class conducted in Music Hall

We are wearing matching outfits. Theme for the day is black shirt and black/white plaid bottom. This is the elegant interior look of Music Hall. We sit on the comfortable couches during the class.

He helps to fix my rose luckily and I am able to complete the blue rose at the end!
His rose shape is a bit different than mine, mine is following the instructor.
He is adding a little bit of different process (square shape?) to the handmade rose.
Both of them look nice and we can bring this back too as memory.
A restaurant staff praises our handmade rose when we go for teatime later,
so good of her, shy.. 😛

After done, we go to the entrance of Music Hall, for some photo taking opportunities. There is a big infinity mirror here for us to do some shooting.

Reflection image of mirror. Blue Rose & I. 💙 Love the outstanding blue color of rose here. A nice choice of blue ribbon given to us! At first I thought it will be red color, but I think blue turns out nice too and it looks mysterious yet elegant. The handmade blue roses are lying in my home's cabinet now hehe.. 😁

I bring this around to take some photos. This is in front of Royal Theatre,
the place where we come to watch movie and some entertainment shows.

Silhouette ❤

Leisure Walk

Venue: Deck 4

After the art class, we take some photos around the cruise before heading for tea time session. The reason why I am in love with Royal Caribbean Cruise is because they have elegant interior and many nice photo spots around the cruise. Of course, there is a "moving" professional photographer which you can ask them to help you take photos and you can pay to get your photos nicely printed out and framed as a memory too. The more photos you are selecting, the more worth the package gets. If interested, you can inquire more from the staffs on board.

Tips:  Spot for "moving" photographer who can help you take professional photos. Buy photos in a big bundle is more worth, however it depends on individuals and the outcome of photos too. Inquire staffs to learn more on the pricing.

Tips:  Deck 4 has a shopping street which houses a few branded stores. You can buy duty free skincare and some branded handbags here too. (p/s: There is a jewelry sold in Bvlgari store which priced at USD50k 😆😨, I believe there are a lot with even higher price, as I not visit all stores on cruise, just hand pick some of them only. Truth is rich people don't have time to shop and they will come here to shop during their holidays. I have seen quite a number of foreigners in Royal Caribbean Cruise, feelings much like "Crazy Rich Asians" 😸)

On the way to Cafe Promenade, there is a big crown royal chair! 💓
You can pretend royalty here and be the charming princess or queen.. 😎

These bright staircases are a nice photo taking opportunity too! 😻
They are just beside the shopping street, where you can buy some duty free skincare and branded bags too!

Taken at the entrance of Royal Theatre. The shimmering and luminous
background is stunning too! 😚

Teatime @ Cafe Promenade

Restaurant Name:   Cafe Promenade
Restaurant Venue: Deck 4
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

After leisure walk, we head to Cafe Promenade for tea time. Since it is our last day on cruise and we are lazy to walk back to our room, so we spend our leisure time by dropping by this 24 hours cafe and enjoying the tea time. Cafe Promenade serves a wide varieties of snacks (such as pizza, sandwich, cookies, cakes) and drinks (such as coffees, teas), and they are all free flow too! But frankly, I feel the food taste and quality is not very high, just don't expect too much. It is still a very nice casual place for you to grab some tidbits though.

Cafe Promenade is usually busy during tea time or late night, it is a good place for people to gather around if you have nothing to do and just want to relax and grab some light tidbits. The queue can get long too during supper time, especially after entertainment or movie show at night. Good news for night owl, Cafe Promenade opens 24 hours!

Tips:  Cafe Promenade is an all day cafe, drop by to chill anytime!

Can't get enough of our handmade blue roses.. Keep on taking photos with them..

We sit at the same corner place again, love to sit here as it is less crowded and away from noise since it is the most corner of the restaurant. Only order one cookie today as the taste is not very nice, compared to Main Dining. Main Dining has very tasty cookies, which I takeaway every time after dinner hehe 😅..
The tea bag is not bad though..

Orchestra Jazz Quartet

Venue: Boleros @ Deck 4
Booking Method: not applicable, only can walk in and queue

Since we still have some free time before dinner, we come to Boleros listen to some musical performance. It is orchestra jazz quartet showed performed by a group of 4 talented musicians who come from different countries around the world. We enjoy the performance and have some relaxing moments listening to the music.

TIPS:  This musical performance is on 1st come 1st serve basis, so it is advisable to reach 20 minutes to 30 minutes earlier to queue for it.

Quartet performance, soothing to our ears 😊

Dinner @ Main Dining

Restaurant Name:   Main Dining
Dinner Date/Time: 12th Sep 2021/5.45pm (early slot)
Restaurant Venue: Deck 3 (refer to your Royal app, they split into Deck 3/4/5 for dinner to reduce the crowds)
Booking Method: Royal app (only book once and fixed timing slot for dinner throughout the whole trip)

It is time to enjoy our dinner again! We come to Main Dining at Deck 3, and go to same table seating as Day 1. If you have read my blog from previous Day 3, you will know that I have mentioned about the friendly and warm service provided from our personal waitresses and managers on board. Our personal waitresses knew I like to eat prawns from our previous dinner and surprised me directly with 2 plates of prawns as my main course 😱. The restaurant manager also took note of our order yesterday and surprised us again with banana boat.. 😂 Since it is last dinner for our trip, he gives each table 2 strawberry coated with chocolate as a sweet ending to our dinner too 👍. You can get more if you want, as usual I am thick face 😆 when it comes to dessert, so I order 2 more strawberry chocolate at the end. My husband is too full and can't take banana boat which is a surprise treat from the manager, so I help him to eat again.. This explains why I have gained weight from the 5D4N cruise 😓, thanks to Royal staffs who keep on pampering us! 😘

Our dinner of the day:

Appetizer:
👉 Laksa Soup
--> Spicy noodle soup with shrimp, straw mushrooms, lemongrass and cilantro

Main Course:
👉  Garlic Tiger Shrimp
--> Broiled until golden brown, served with jasmine rice, roasted seasonal vegetables and herb butter
👉  Chicken Cordon Bleu
--> Breaded chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese, serve3d with assorted vegetables, french fries and cheese sauce

Dessert:
👉  Tiramisu
--> Mascarpone cheese, ladyfingers, espresso and a hint of Kahlua liquor
👉 Cherries Jubilee
--> Dark cherries cooked in a wine-cinnamon sauce topped with vanilla ice cream
👉 Banana Boat
--> From Kid's menu. Banana topped with 3 different flavours of ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla) and drizzle with chocolate sauce on top

Tips: For  dinner, you need to  book through Royal app for the fixed timing slot throughout the whole trip. For  breakfast and lunch, you can just  walk in any time in between their mentioned operating hours in Royal app.

Tips: There are  2 main timing slots for dinner, one is  5.45pm-6pm (early slot). Another one is  8.15pm-8.30pm (late slot)

Tips: It is better to opt for  early dinner slot if you are interested to see the entertainment show, as they have daily show at 8.15pm and 10.15pm. However, for those who p refer to do the on board activity (ie pool/gym/rock climbing/surfing and etcetera) which usually available at day time,  then may opt for late dinner. For me, I take early slot since everyone is recommending the world class entertainment show which I am not hoping to miss out any!  For the whole trip, we can only choose 1 timing slot for dinner, you can't rotate between early and night dinner slot.

Tips: You may go to  Cafe Promenade (another complimentary restaurant) for supper, after entertainment show at night. They serve pizza, cookies, sandwich, cakes, coffee, tea and etcetera, which is good to kill some time at night or if your tummy is screaming for more foods intake.

Appetizer: laksa soup

Main course: grilled tiger shrimp.

The waitress gives us 2nd plate directly without asking. They remember your preference and occasionally give you surprise!

Also to celebrate the last dinner, each table gets 2 strawberry coated with chocolate.
This is very delicious! I order another 2 again at the end.

Dessert: cherries jubilee

Dessert: tiramisu

Dessert: banana boat (kid's menu)

Couple Photoshoot

Venue: Deck 15

We are so lucky that we get to know the couple who sits on the table beside us during dinner. We never have chance to talk to each other till today. We always takeaway chocolate cookies at the end of our dinner. Thanks to them, I know the chocolate cookies are nice in Main Dining 😂. It is funny to see them keep on ordering more chocolate cookies (about 14 pieces today), and I can't hold myself and start to talk to them. That's where we get to know each other, and surprisingly the husband is a professional photographer, the wife is a beautiful psychologist. We are talking about some beautiful spots to take in Royal Caribbean Cruise. And I start to complain my husband photo taking skill is quantity more than quality.. Is hard for me to choose nice photos at the end of the trip usually 😅. The husband is then so nice to offer us a free photoshooting session after hearing this haha 😹. Since they have nothing to do after dinner, thus we decide to meet up each other and have some shootings in Deck 15 which is the open area deck. I have to say this is the most memorable moment during our cruise holidays, and thanks to them for creating such beautiful memories for us to remember for a very long time. 💑 Wish the lovely couple stays sweet and blessed forever! 😍

Our most favorite photo, so blessed and thankful for the best memories. 💏

Bumper Car

Venue: Deck 15
Booking Method: Royal app (only can book once throughout the whole trip)

There is bumper car activity in Quantum of the Seas. It is located in Seaplex, Deck 15. In Seaplex, you can find this large space for bumper car. Bumper car usually starts 6pm onwards till night. At day time, this large space is being used for other activities such as dancing, exercising, basketball court and etcetera. In this Seaplex, there are many other activities to join too on Level 2 such as ping pong, table football, table hockey, Xbox and etcetera. For these activities, you need to reserve in the Seaplex counter just able to play it. These activities are popular!

For bumper car, you can reserve through Royal app.  We can only book once throughout the whole trip, to cater for more people to play this.  Remember to wear sport shoe if you are coming to play bumper car, else you will be denied entry due to safety reason.

One round of bumper ride usually lasts about 4 minutes.  Trust me, time flies. Feels like only 2 minutes if you ride it. Staff will play some fun songs as background music while you are riding the bumper car! Knock out others or being knocked by them! It is very fun and popular ride for adults and kids! 💙

We have played bumper car on our Day 1, but come here again to try luck when it is the last slot (8.45pm) and we able to get the ride due to some vacant bumper cars. We are so lucky because the staffs let us play 2 rounds of bumper cars, as the surprise to us due to it is the last ride of the cruise trip! I am a happy and blessed girl again💖!

Tips: Reserve bumper car through Royal app. Reserve other Seaplex activities through walk in counter.

Tips: If you would like to have another round of bumper car, you can walk in and try your luck. You will be able to ride it if nobody is queuing and still have empty bumper car. Big tips, come for the last slot of the day, usually you have a high chance to ride it! Don't say I not share this with you! 😃

Tips: Remember to wear sport shoe to play bumper car, else you will be denied entry. Safety first.

Able to sit at the exact same bumper car from Day 1.
It is lucky 8 pink color bumper car, special for me! 💕

Entertainment Show

Show Name:  Magic Show
Show Date/Time: 12th Sep 2021/10.15pm
Venue: Royal Theatre @ Deck 4
Booking Method: Royal app

We are going to watch the last performance for our cruise trip and it is magic show. The show lasts about 45 minutes. Since my husband knows a little bit of magic tricks, he able to analyze and explain some magic tricks done by the magicians to me 😝. We enjoy the magic show and it is a magical way to end the last night on board the cruise.

Tips: There are 2 halls available, one is for purple wristband only (for those who are fully vaccinated), another one is for all guests (a mixture of purple and non purple).

Tips: If you would like to have the best seating, do come as early as 30 minutes prior to the show.

Royal Theatre interior look. Since we come early, we are able to grab seatings at the front with unobstructed view. (p/s: easy to see the sleight of hand from magicians, also to examine closely if he fails to perform any tricks 😂)

Most well know magic scenes appear in front of our eyes. The magician's head is still intact after being sawed by the assistant.

Night Jacuzzi

Venue: Indoor Pool @ Deck 14
Booking Method:  not applicable, only can walk in and queue

Since it is the last night of our cruise, we come to enjoy soaking in jacuzzi again. It is late midnight or should say early morning already (about 1am) and there is no crowd at all. Indoor pool facility has been closed, left only 2 jacuzzi tubs which are still operating. One of them has been occupied by a group of youngsters, all the night owls are gathered here. We need to pretend we are youngsters too.. 😂

Tips: Usage of jacuzzi is limited to one group at a time. Each group has 10 minutes soaking time.

Tips: Come at early morning or late night to avoid crowds. You can use the jacuzzi for more than 10 minutes since nobody is queuing!

Whole jacuzzi to myself, best moment!
Kudos to 'hardworking' night owl, yeahhh! 😹

After jacuzzi, we back to room and call it a day. Tomorrow will be Day 5, the last day on cruise.. Each room has been assigned on a specific timing slot to leave the cruise, and we get our time at about 8.30am. So we are going to leave after a buffet breakfast. That's it for Day 4 . Good night, sleep tight.
