Classic Teddy Cafe (Penang) - Permanently Closed

Penang has become a famous tourist attraction and with the booming of tourism industry, we have observed a lot of special cafes slowly opened in Penang. It is a good news for all Penangites as well as travelers who are coming to Penang for holidays. Regardless of hot sunny day or rainy day, hiding in some cafes and sipping the best taste ever coffee or chocolate drinks, is certainly an enjoyable thing to do.

During a weekend dating to Penang, we have paid a visit to my long awaited cafe. It is a themed cafe inside the 1^st Avenue shopping mall Penang. Well, guess Penangites should be able to guess the name of the cafe already! Inside the 1^st Avenue shopping mall, lies a cute themed cafe which is especially interesting and appealing for children and girls out there, which is called Classic Teddy Cafe! For me is a must visit place as you can imagine yourself dine inside a teddy bear cafe, with tons of teddy bears surrounding you, immerse in the beautiful Londan style decoration inside the cafe, and what’s more, enjoying your meal while hugging a teddy bear with you or putting on your laps! Guess this is the 1^st time diners can experience eating while hugging teddy bear! So, let’s feast our eyes with the Classic Teddy Cafe photos, beware because it is cuteness overloaded! 😍💓

For teddy bear lovers out there, do drop by here for your lunch or dinner. As the place is quite newly opened that time when we visited, we got promotion set lunch ongoing too. Hence, it is very worth to go and have a look and experience yourself hugging teddy bear and eating! For guys, just enjoy the Londan cafe feeling and watching your wife or girlfriend smile and laugh like they instantly become 8 years old back. This place is also crowded with families bringing their kids too, so don't miss it when you are in Penang! Come and feel the teddy bear themed cafe and bring tons of memories back with you!

Concubine Lane (Ipoh)

Blogged about my short trip to Ipoh on February 2017. It was a weekend visit to my dear’s family at Ipoh. This blog I will mention about our visit to Concubine Lane. It is known as 二奶巷 in Chinese.  It is a lane alike with Georgetown Penang, where there are souvenir shops, cafes, clothing stores etcetera.  Concubine Lane is a 120 years old lane at Old Town Ipoh and is part of Ipoh Heritage Trail. It is slowly becoming famous attraction among locals and tourists since last year after much reconstruction and shops booming in the narrow lane. Concubine Lane is just adjacent to Old Town Ipoh. As all of us know that Old Town Ipoh is famous for a lot of eateries and souvenir shops for Ipoh biscuits etcetera, why not drop by Concubine Lane to get a stroll and feel the heritage trail after your full meal (exercise to burn more calories, so you can eat more later xD). Let’s follow us to the journey to Concubine Lane, the famous lane adjacent to Old Town Ipoh!

There are a lot of colorful shoplots along the Concubine Lane. All of them are double storeys shoplots. Some of the souvenir shops have basement floor to display all the souvenirs for sell, and upper floor to display the antiques and cute galleries for tourists to take photo. Since Concubine Lane is a heritage lane, you can venture into some shops and have a look on the antiques which ancient people used them for living. Parents can bring their kids to have fun in this place too, as they can reminisce their old times with the other half as well as show to the younger generation for fun and learning purpose too! Don't forget to buy drinks and small titbits too after long hours walk and hot sunny day especially in Ipoh. There are cotton candies, all sorts of drinks and small eateries along the Concubine Lane. However, the one captured my attention the most is taufufa that comes with bird nest topping! Not only is nice, but is good for skin too, so for me, is a must have! Especially when it is affordable.

Phatamania (Georgetown Penang)

Penang, Malaysia is listed as one of the 17 best places to visit in year 2017 by CNN. This tourist destination attracts a lot of visitors all around the world. One of the most famous places in Penang is Georgetown. It is the Malaysia’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are a lot of museums booming in Georgetown Penang, for example Trick Art Museum, 3D Museum, Glass Museum, Gold Museum, Camera Museum, Upside Down Museum, and the list goes on and on. One of the latest museum attraction was opened on June 2016 and it is certainly one of the best and recommended attraction that you must visit when you come to Penang, it is Phantamania! Their slogan is ‘Trust No One, Just Have Fun’!

We encountered this unique looking building during our weekend dating at Penang. It captured our attention and hence would like to venture inside. Imagine yourself being trapped inside a mirror maze trying to figure out how to not get lost and to find the way out of all the mirrors, photoshooting with a lot of bizarre settings which you will not understand why the crew asking you to post like that, but when you see the outcome of photoshooting, it certainly blows your mind away and you understand why and will give all your cameras to them, for us just post post and post, great posture great photo! Last but not least, Phantamania also has Ice Café, Igloo, Snowman, Ice Bedroom also! As you venture from one place to another in Phantamania, you will get tons of surprises and the views keep on changing, you will be impressed! Let’s go to Phatamania and immerse in the world of bizarre photography! 😍

You can have quiz session at the ice cafe too. They will ask the couple to sit seperately. Crew will ask one question to the guy, and the question is regarding his understanding on the girl. Crew will then asked the girl for the same question about her favourite stuffs. Then, crew will compare two answers! Please bear in mind guys, remember to answer correctly. Else, tonight you might end up sleeping on floor.. 😛 For those couple that pass the quiz, crew will reward you with little souvenir. Want to know what is it? Go and try it out! 👍
