Morning world, it is our 3rd day in Quantum of the Seas for this 5d4n holidays. We start off the beautiful day by enjoying our breakfast. Then we walk around open deck in the cruise. Since we have eaten so much for the past few days, we have reserved ping pong and table football too for today. We come to gym on evening too for about 10 minutes just to pretend jogging awhile, but actually enjoying the ocean view gym more. After few sports activities, we come to a conclusion that we can have more foods intake during our dinner (well, I guess this is pure lame excuse to enjoy the delicious foods in Royal Caribbean Cruise 😂). It is Day 3 breakfast time! At last we have the chance to try breakfast in Main Dining. We are supposed to eat breakfast in Main Dining on Day 2, but due to Flow Rider we are unable to make it on time and went to Cafe Promenade instead. So we are quite anticipating today's breakfast in Main Dining. The breakfast served here is American style and comes with breads, drinks, breakfast set, and starter like below. I enjoy the granola parfait the most, it is tasty and nice to see at the same time 😍!

Leisure Walk
Venue: Deck 15
After breakfast, we walk around Deck 15 open area space to kill some free time. There is an observation deck called the North Star at an extra cost, which lets you enjoy the panoramic ocean view! It is like a glass-enclosed pod hanging up to the middle of sky and let you enjoy the 360 degree view surrounding you when sailing. This observation deck is the winner of Guinness World Record for being the tallest viewing deck on a cruise ship! 😎

After breakfast and walk around deck, we go back to room and take a rest until lunch time! There are some free TV channels that you can watch in your room too, or just listen to some music and enjoy the lazy time in room, because it is holidays 😃! For lunch, we come back to Main Dining again. We not order a lot for lunch today because we are so stuffed from foods these few days, and stomach feels discomfort due to indigestion, hahaha 😂. So we just order bread and main course, is so unlike me, I am not ordering any dessert for today's lunch, only order fruit platter.. 😌 Ok, I feel regret now when I am typing this blog and thinking of the nice foods on cruise.. 😒😿

Ping Pong & Table Football

After a fulfilling lunch, we head to Deck 15 Seaplex center and finally get to move our body a little bit. We have reserved ping pong and table football session at 2pm today, so here we come 😉
!
Today theme is sports day at last 😆! We need to move our lazy body, at least to make ourselves feeling comfortable. Due to excessive foods intake, we are not feeling quite well, so is good day to arrange some sports. Is good to know that after today's activities, it helps and we are feeling much better! After that, we have more room for dinner haha, evil infinity loop when you are on cruise holidays 😂!
When it is your time to play, head to Seaplex level 1 and look for the staff members. They will give you the necessary kit when it is your timing slot. We are given only 30 minutes for each of the ping pong and table football session. After 1 hour later, we need to return back the kit to counter when the time ends, for the next group of customer to use it.
TIPS: Level 1 of Seaplex has a big space much like a basketball court which is used for dance/exercise class (day time) and bumper car (night time). For day time dance/exercise class is based on 1st come 1st serve basis, just walk in and queue for the class. For bumper car is based on booking via Royal app.
TIPS:
Level 2 of Seaplex has many rooms which has been segmented and used for Xbox, ping pong, table football, table hockey and etcetera. For level 2 activities, all of them need to reserve via staff assistance in Seaplex counter in level 1.

Gym

We have reserved gym for today's session for 5pm. We only come and sweat a little for about 10 minutes, because our dinner is coming up at 6pm, and we still need to take a bath after exercise later. I have not come to gym for such a long time, like years.. It is quite a fun experience to enjoy the gym on cruise 🚢, as they are overlooking the blue ocean and blue sky, while you are running on treadmill. For me who is prone to sea sickness, it is better to look far at the horizon, rather than looking at the "moving" waves. Nonetheless, we enjoy our time in the gym and the view alone makes it worth to pay a visit too 😎!

Dinner @ Main Dining

Dinner Date/Time: 11th Sep 2021/5.45pm (early slot)
Restaurant Venue: Deck 3 (refer to your Royal app, they split into Deck 3/4/5 for dinner to reduce the crowds)
Booking Method: Royal app (only book once and fixed timing slot for dinner throughout the whole trip)
It is time to enjoy our dinner again! We come to Main Dining at Deck 3, and go to same table seating as Day 1. After some exercises just now, we feel great and now have more excuse to order more dishes for dinner already haha 😅! We order 3 appetizers, 2 main courses and 3 desserts for today. Initially we want to call it a day after 2 desserts. But the restaurant manager is walking around and chatting with us, when he asks is there anything else that we need again, then we start to contemplating on banana boat which is actually dessert from kid's menu haha 😂. The friendly and passionate manager doesn't leave any chance for us to contemplate and directly order the waitress to serve us the banana boat. Then give us the dish and say we are happy kids tonight 😆😅. This is when the manager takes note of it then surprise us again during tomorrow dinner, which is our last dinner throughout the cruise holidays! Thumbs up to the amazing hospitality provided from the manager and waitresses on board Royal Caribbean Cruise! 👍😘

--> Spiced eggplant roasted with red peppers, served with red pepper hummus, kalamata olives and garlic bread
👉 Seafood Puff Pastry
--> Flaky seafood pastry with a lobster-cream sauce
👉 Crab & Asparagus Soup
--> Hearty seafood broth with lump crab and fresh asparagus
Main Course:
👉 Steamed Seasonal Fish with Chopped Chilli
--> Basket-steamed seasonal fish, chilli, spring onion and fresh coriander
👉 Majo-Marinated Grilled Pork Chop
--> Bone-in pork loin marinated in a savory citrus sauce, paired with sweet potatoes, broccoli and a cumin-citrus reduction
Dessert:
👉 Royal Cheesecake
--> Velvety cheesecake garnished with glazed strawberries
👉 Caramelized Banana Platter with Vanilla Ice Cream
--> Banana coated with caramel and dipped in brown sugar sauce, served with vanilla ice cream
👉 Banana Boat
--> From Kid's menu. Banana topped with 3 different flavours of ice cream (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla) and drizzle with chocolate sauce on top
Tips: For dinner, you need to book through Royal app for the fixed timing slot throughout the whole trip. For breakfast and lunch, you can just walk in any time in between their mentioned operating hours in Royal app.
Tips: There are 2 main timing slots for dinner, one is 5.45pm-6pm (early slot). Another one is 8.15pm-8.30pm (late slot).
Tips: It is better to opt for early dinner slot if you are interested to see the entertainment show, as they have daily show at 8.15pm and 10.15pm. However, for those who p refer to do the on board activity (ie pool/gym/rock climbing/surfing and etcetera) which usually available at day time, then may opt for late dinner. For me, I take early slot since everyone is recommending the world class entertainment show which I am not hoping to miss out any! For the whole trip, we can only choose 1 timing slot for dinner, you can't rotate between early and night dinner slot.
Tips: You may go to Cafe Promenade (another complimentary restaurant) for supper, after entertainment show at night. They serve pizza, cookies, sandwich, cakes, coffee, tea and etcetera, which is good to kill some time at night or if your tummy is screaming for more foods intake.

Entertainment Show
Show Name: Sequins & Feathers
Show Date/Time: 11th Sep 2021/8pm
Venue: Royal Theatre @ Deck 5

We are going to watch two performances at night later after our dinner, so we dress more elegantly for tonight 😙. Good thing about cruise holidays is since you are so near to your room, you can easily change few outfits per day, matching to the events or activities that you are doing 😝. You no need worry to carry heavy stuffs and bags to put in necessary items too. Like usually after dinner, I still have time to go back the room and grab jacket before going to show at night 😊.
The 1st show that we are going to watch is called "Sequins & Feathers", it is the most famous show in Royal Caribbean Cruise. Even we reach 30 min prior to the show, we can see quite a number of people queueing already. Luckily the show is housed in Royal Theatre which is a big hall, same with the one we came to watch movie yesterday night, thus there are quite a lot of good seating facing the stage and you able to see the performance clearly since all seats are elevated rows by rows, much like cinema.
The show is performed by a team of beautiful ladies and handsome guys which have amazing bodies and figures 😁. They dance perfectly and in synced with each other on the stage. It is truly a good musical and dance show for everyone to enjoy! However, I do hear that from few people saying the show is not really kids-friendly? 😂 You can still bring your kids to enjoy, is for everyone, just some scenes and costumes are very "hot" in that sense. I guess most adults enjoy the show very much, which explains why it is the most popular show in the cruise, especially for guys.. 😛 It reminds me of the Paris cabaret show in Moulin Rouge, France. Although I do not get a chance to watch the performance in Moulin Rouge when I visited Paris on 2019, but I have googled before and thus have the same feeling, where the girls dressed in sparkling and nice costume and perform on the stage.
Tips: There are 2 halls available, one is for purple wristband only (for those who are fully vaccinated), another one is for all guests (a mixture of purple and non purple).
Tips: If you would like to have the best seating, do come as early as 30 minutes prior to the show.

Another performance that we are going to watch for tonight is James Bustar. If you google for him, you will know he is a comedy juggler. He has performed on major world cruise lines and provided entertainment experience to many viewers around the world, with his slapstick comedy and professional juggling skills. We enjoy the performance very much because he is a super funny guy who makes a lot of jokes, so the show goes on smoothly and in a very much interacting way with audience too. I feel like jokes are more than juggling? At the end of the show, he juggles with knife and is trying to balance on a rolling board. Definitely an amazing and fun moment to end the night! 😹

After shows, we walk around the beautiful area in the cruise and take some photos. Since it is late night already, the area is quite empty and nice for some leisure photoshooting. I am in love with the elegant decoration in Royal Caribbean Cruise! 💜😍

After show and leisure walk, we back to room and call it a day. That's it for Day 3 . Good night, sleep tight. And prepare for more fun tomorrow! 😃 Tomorrow will be Day 4, the last full day on cruise.. Time flies 😌 Fret not, we will enjoy it to the max for tomorrow too, stay tuned for more stories and amazing activities that we will do on the last day on board Royal Caribbean Cruise! 💓💑
