After being locked up for few years due to global pandemic, I was so excited again to finally travel overseas for holidays. When Indonesia government announced Bali has been reopened to public travelers, I quickly booked flight and accommodation within that week. I was truly glad to be able to get considerably cheap fares for accommodation as not everyone dares to travel yet. Thus I have booked different 5 stars hotel throughout the entire 1 week trip in Bali 😍! The price has been dropped to about 5 years back and I thought that would be a great deal, it was only possible for this year I guess, price would surge again after everyone traveling like normal!
I have been to Bali twice already (even visited the nearby Nusa Penida) and this year would be my 3rd time already. Through my previous holidays in Bali, I have visited those major attractions in Bali already. Thus, this year I would opt for pampering luxury trip for a real holidays feeling instead of rushing from one attraction to another. I will share with you guys the different 5 stars hotel experience (Jimbaran & Ubud regions) and some of the most romantic restaurants that I have ever visited 😎! This trip we focus on Jimbaran (Day 1-3) & Ubud (Day 4-6) area. Jimbaran is famous for seafood and has many beautiful beaches 🏖 with coastal line. Ubud is totally different style than Jimbaran, it is a peaceful retreat place with many jungles 🌳, greeneries, and waterfalls. We start our journey in Jimbaran as it is nearby airport, then continue the journey to Ubud for some perfect relaxing spa and pampering retreat session before heading back to home.

JIMBARAN
a) Rock Bar Bali 🍸🥂 (Recommended!)
Highlights: One of the world's prettiest bar voted by CNN, romantic sunset dining experience with vast Indian ocean

b) Kubu Beach 🌇🏖 (Recommended!)
Highlights: One of the prettiest sunset view in Bali, private beach in Ayana Jimbaran hotel only accessible by hotel guests

| The wooden house behind is a private house for massage & spa. Need to do reservation prior to the visit. The private house is overlooking Indian ocean directly. It is so serene and calm here with the vast ocean view, wave hitting on the rocks. It is even better during magical sunset hours! |

c) Jimbaran Beach 🐟🏖
Highlights: Romantic sunset dining experience along the beach
Suits: Seafood lover, group dining, beach dining
Total Cost: SGD60/2 people
Note: There are whole row of restaurants overlooking the ocean view on Jimbaran beach. The restaurant we visit this time is called Pandan Sari Cafe Jimbaran. 5 years back on 2017, we have visited Made Bagus Jimbaran. Personally, I think Made Bagus Jimbaran is nicer and taste more flavorful, but the standard was 5 years back, I can't really comment for now. Nonetheless, it is still well worth the money to try seafood dinner in Jimbaran beach!
Note: You may choose to order ala carte seafood or directly opt for seafood package which has a mixture of different varieties of seafoods. We go for a later one.

a) Swept Away 😋💕(Super Recommended!)
Highlights: Royal 100 candlelit dinner with Ayung river, Most romantic dining in Ubud Bali, very private dining environment with river view
Suits: Romantic lover, fine dining lover, couple, specialty dining, privacy
Total Cost: IDR1694000/2 people
(Promotion during covid time for 5 course without photoshooting session, usual is IDR3800000 for 7 course with complimentary photoshooting session.)
Note: Minimum spending required on these types of private dining table as my photos below, total about 6 tables available for reservation. For private dining table, must order only fine dining course menu. Menu will be updated in their official website (LINK HERE) accordingly, some have 5 course, some have 7 courses. Some even have private photoshooting session available. If you have food allergy, do let them know for special arrangement.
Note: Must reserve as early as possible, I booked this one month prior traveling date. If you have special table number preference, may arrange with them accordingly.
Note: For lower budget travelers, can choose to dine in the usual restaurant as well, just beside here. Usual restaurant is not private, and don't have the river view as near as the private dining table. For usual restaurant, there is ala carte menu available for order.
Note: We need to sit buggy car from the Samaya hotel lobby to Swept Away restaurant. Just let them know your reservation and hotel staff will call the private buggy car to send you to the restaurant. It is nice ride through the jungle and greeneries, then you will reach the river view restaurant!

All the "love shape" decoration of love holder & love candles on the floor are included. They even have "I Love You" wordings put on top of the floor, they are made of fresh white and pink color rose petals, so romantic! 😍 |

b) Bali Botanica Day Spa 💆🛀(Recommended!)
Highlights: Perfect massage and spa session with private room for couples, rose petals decoration in love shape upon request
Suits: Relaxing retreat lover, spa lover, couple, privacy

Note: We opt for 2 hours pampering spa session, consists of 1 hour full body massage 💆, green tea scrub for skin exfoliation, yogurt for body moisturizer and end with a bath of flower petals!

Note: Highly rated spa shop in Ubud, hence is it recommended to reserve prior to the visit!

c) Bebek Tepi Sawah 🦆🍴
Highlights: Famous for duck dishes, dining within paddy fields and lush greeneries
Suits: Food lover, specialty dining

Note: Famous restaurant in Ubud with specialized in duck dishes, especially the crispy duck or bebek bengil in Indonesian language.
Note: There are 2 famous restaurants in Bali specialized in cripsy duck, namely Bebek Tepi Sawah & Bebek Bengil Dirty Duck Diner. We tried Bebek Bengil Dirty Duck Diner 5 years back on 2017. So this year 2022, we are going to Bebek Tepi Sawah to try out! Both restaurants serve delicious duck dishes, you will never go wrong!
Note: The restaurant is huge and able to accommodate around 500 people at one time. It may get busy during peak hours, as it is famous among locals and foreigners.
Note: The restaurant is directly situated on paddy fields so you have beautiful greenery to enjoy while dining the delicious duck. Same goes to Bebek Bengil Dirty Duck Diner. There are many outlets available in Bali, feel free to checkout the nearby outlet to enjoy while in Bali.
